I'm not a smoker. I'm much worse than that. I'm a
former smoker. So you know how much I hate you all.
My wife quit smoking a couple of years ago by switching to e-cigs. Not the giant iridescent hookahs some people use for vaping, but the little white e-cigs that look like regular cigarettes.
I'm trying to figure out why airlines, lounges, etc. want these treated the same as regular cigarettes.
As a former smoker sitting anywhere near someone smoking just irritates the heck out of me. Can't stand it. But my wife can sit next to me in the car and puff on her e-cig and I'm completely unaware of it. So obviously they are not intrusive.
My wife sits in an airline lounge and holds her hand over her mouth so no one can see the e-cig and nobody in the lounge ever notices. Same on a plane.
So why the movement to ban them or treat them the same as regular cigarettes?
