If you can deal with being apart for the flight, 11A/K are by far the best seats in the house. Definitely go for those, unless your husband is happy to go row 12.

Row 12 is missing a window, but there is one immediately next to the seat IIRC, and one further forward, so there is still plenty of light. Unless your husband wants to actually look at things outside the window, row 12 might still be fine too.
