British Airays First is good
In a year I managed to fly all available classes on BA. I do all my travels on BA except one on Little Red (can't really resist when they are selling fares for £43!).
I had my first J, F and W on BA.
In general the F service was great. Staffs at Concorde room are very kind and helpful... crew on board did really looked after me well. Food is generally good apart from the steak. The tasting menu is the must have thing in F. I also had a pleasant sleep but for me its the same as CW as I can basically sleep anywhere.
Here are the things I like about BA F:
- The seat is so good. Seats in CW are good already but the extra horizontal space makes a difference.
- Tasting menu is good. You HAVE TO eat them.
- Lots of storage space
- For seat 1A and 1K privacy is great as no one can look into your seat. This applies on A380.
- I had a very nice crew. They did ask if I want another drink. They also seems like they do care
The few things I however do not enjoy are:
- IFE is very slow in responding
- English Breakfast is bad. The bacon is very dry. I eventually returned it (same in CW btw)
- Steak is overcooked. Just bad.
- During my years I have never been on a flight where they arrive on time nor departs on time (long-haul)
Overall I say CW and F are different in service and the seat. Though if you just want to sleep then CW will do.
My loyalty on BA may shake when I try CX J in the short future...
