I thought one of things Hyatt was pushing with with the HP brand was the "Odds & Ends" program which I thought used to have a lot of the essentials for free (toothpaste/brush, deodorant, razor, etc). The list of items this location was charging nominal fees for was surprisingly long (emery board, shaving cream was seperate from razor, comb, moutwash...). And there definitely seemed to be a fair mark-up (tic-tacs were $1.75, AA batteries were $4.50)

As HPs are usually franchises is it up to each property to determine what to charge and how much to charge for these things? Or is it harmonized across the brand?
