Not how I would want to spend 10 hours. However factoring in driving to/from the airport, checkin, customs etc., would it be that much slower?

What about bus, Amtrak. Surface transport one way, air the other. etc.
2 hour drive to airport
1hour grace period
1 hour before flight leaves
1.5 hour flight. 5.5 hours versus ten. Would rather do that especially since I'll be by myself
