I'm more & more confused by your story. Are you sure that :
- you were booked in Business ? If yes, can you tell us which row you were seating in ? As the J cabin size is variable, of course it may happen that there is only 1 or 2 rows of J but that's very unusual on CDG-TLV. But even if that was the case, if you were booked in J you were seated in one of those few rows, with the middle seat unoccupied and a curtain between J and the Y cabin.
- you were not on AF NCE-TLV or MRS-TLV which indeed operates as a single Y cabin (so 3-3 seating) or on Transavia ?
