For what it's worth, there has been a lengthy strike by the German post and they now have a backlog to clear. Maybe part of the delay is due to that. Refunding on a credit card might be faster!
They promised to use a courier, and this was weeks before the Post strike. I would've loved to take a CC refund, but they never offered...
