I had a bit of a moment at T5 at Christmas I was flying to BOM and I was trying to use the self service machine for which there were longish queues. Thankfully after a few minutes a kindly BA Staffer plucked me from the end of the line and took me to a nice lady to take my bag etc. Had there been seats in F (paid or otherwise) I would have done F because I knew it would be very busy at LHR a few days before Christmas and could have avoided a lot of that.
