I sent a copy of my shiny BAEC Gold to AZ a couple of weeks' back. Just opened my near dormant AZ account, where I see my profile etc, but no mention of what status I hold in the programme.
I'm guessing that means my status is non existent

After the match you will see a filled value in "Expiry date of status" in "Your profile". "Your profile" -> "Millemiglia Card" will show a correct card. There is also some kind of an icon near your name on the website when you are logged in.
