Curtain? What curtain? There was no curtain on this flight, no separation. They seemed to be running the A320 in a short-haul configuration. Thus (I presume) the "mixed cabin" problems reported above, as there is no discernible difference between seats.

As a DL elite, most of my experience is with KL where I've seen no problem even on short hauls such as BRU-AMS. I do not expect blocking I expect the FAs to pay some attention and prevent a kettle of Danish tourists with skateboards from running over a woman with children. I'll note the flight was delayed more than 30m, and the offboarding seemed to me a bit of a mess.
Perhaps with a delayed flight, the FAs has other things to do, but it didn't seem so. Perhaps AF's service commitment on this route is particular poor (thus the title of this thread). Perhaps the FAs were just Israeli
