Stay notes from the weekend.

An enjoyable stay overall. No request went unfulfilled and no major service issues.

- The Touzan set is definitely shrinking in quantity. Quality was never the highest but meagre portions for this summer menu. RC Mizuki's Kaiseki set blows it out of the water.

- they don't know how to do shoestring fries. Just some very hard, odd tasting fries with their Burger.

- Was nice to combine the 3000 yen stay certificate with 100USD Virtuoso F&B credit. Thanks pricesquire!

- the Grill's Salad Nicoise was better than the one I had at George V in Paris. Great job there.

- room 1106 is a better suite than 1110. Bigger bed and better garden views than 1110. 1110 has the prettier Kimono bed frame though (brighter colors).

- First World problem but the Zen garden can be a bit noisy at night. Lots of insect wildlife out there.
