So, perhaps by luck, I cancelled my Arrival+ in January at AF posting (got reversed), then reapplied and got it mid March only because HSBC blatantly lied repeated (and continues to lie I'll bet) about their card being pin priority. Result: 2 x $440 sign up bonuses received AND 2016 extension to new much less attractive rules.

Wonder if that method still works?
