Sorry to hijack the thread, but we are flying to KIX and spending a few days in Osaka/Kyoto and then Tokyo.

Can we buy a Suica card in Osaka? Or do we just buy an Icoca card.

Assume the Icoca card can be used for local travel within Osaka and then Kyoto (I read you cant use on the buses there) and then Tokyo? We will buy separate Shinkansen tickets to go from Kyoto to Tokyo.
