I've asked this question because this is a loooong series of flights (longer if delayed) , and once at BKK daughter will still have to connect to a regional flight--or two, into Laos or Cambodia, then bus it to her final destination.
We've found it's a lot more refreshing and certainly better for one's health to stop midroute and take a shower and get a good snooze. So it costs $100-$150 more--better than buying up to a PE ticket.
I'm familiar with Google, Kayak, IATA. What I was hoping for was someone who know that XX airline departs MIA to arrive in FRA at 6 am, and XX continues on to FRA for BKK at midnight, which gives a good 18 hours on the ground in FRA.
When I've flown through CDG, for example, to JoBurg, I know I'm going to have an average 14 hour layover at CDG upon arrival from the US. Ditto, I also know Virgin Atlantic allows me to build a nice 23 hour layover in the UK into my schedule.
I was hoping a FTer knew of an ex-USA to BKK run that can be padded out with a lengthy layover.
