Am traveling with my infant (18 mo) without the Mrs. in J later this month. On 777-ER (sea-dxb) and returning on a380 (dxb-lax). Dxb-maa in 777.

Can someone suggest the best J seats in these for a single parent with a lap-infant?
I am guessing an aisle seat on the 777 is a better option - in case the middle seat goes empty i can put the kid down if/when shes asleep.

Any other thots/suggestions? Thanks
