I think you've got the wrong word. That's not what "tangible" means. From dictionary.com:
adjective
1.
capable of being touched; discernible by the touch; material or substantial.
2.
real or actual, rather than imaginary or visionary:
the tangible benefits of sunshine.
3.
definite; not vague or elusive:
no tangible grounds for suspicion.
4.
(of an asset) having actual physical existence, as real estate or chattels, and therefore capable of being assigned a value in monetary terms.
With IHG Club, what's actually tangible (definite, not vague or elusive) is points, even if they're not during your stay. I would argue that upgrades (the likelihood of which is vague or elusive)
as a benefit are not tangible, even though
if they happen
and you notice them they happen during your stay.
Now, some in-hotel benefits (like a definite breakfast, a definite physical welcome gift) etc are tangible, but other in-hotel benefits (if they're maybe yes, maybe no, maybe you can tell if you got it, maybe you can't) are not tangible.
And getting a physical status card in the mail is also tangible.
I don't think there is a single word in the English language which means "during your stay". You have to spell that out or make one up, such as "in-hotel" benefits.
