Sorry for the dumb/newbie question but it's my first time on AF.
I am booked in Y on the JNB-CDG flight on the 29th of July, I would like to select a seat but at the moment I can only see some of the special seats on offer and some single regular economy seats scattered here and there. How can it be possible that all Y seats are taken on an A380 when they still hard discounted economy seats? I have no status with AF/KL. Should I wait for OLCI or am I better off selecting one of the seats offered? (the standard economy ones seem to be horrendous middle seats).
