I took VS008 a few weeks ago and found the breakfast to be, in simple words, awful. This was my first flight with VS.

My preference would have been something hot, but I doubted we'd get anything like that in economy.

What we did get: small packet of granola, yogurt and blueberry muffin. That's it. For a flight that departed LAX at 17:55 and arrived LHR at 12:20, I would have expected something a little more substantial for the second meal.

Not only that, but this was the yogurt, which no-one ate:


Quite possibly the most annoying thing was that a drunk group in the row behind, who had become friendly with one of the FAs during the flight, were given an omelette (or something egg based, presumably from premium economy or upper class) after complaining, whereas everyone else was told that's all there is.

Is this the usual breakfast offering on VS flights? The meals on the way out (VS007 - especially the butter chicken curry) were very good.
