The diamond support is generally very quick and responsive. I think you will be able to manually give it to the same person again. But as already noted it is the 3 month grace period that is hindering you from giving it to them again so soon.

The soft landing should not be an issue. I spoke with top-end SAS people at the last Diamond/Pandion event where we talked about it.
