My goal is accumulation of IHG points for stays at the IC Thalasso Bora Bora yearly.
I don't tend to use UR for anything else.
So IHG points (UR earned with chase ink plus at staples and then transferred to IHG) are now $.0071 or so. I can buy IHG points all day at $.007 using book/cancel technique.
If I wanted UR for something else, I suppose this is useful still, but what are you using UR for that you think is useful?
Most people would never xfer UR points to IHG as it is typically a very bad value. I personally get at least $.02 value out of my UR points with UA and Hyatt. The only time I would even think about a UR to IHG xfer would be for a Point Breaks.
