I did just notice on a res that way down at the bottom it gives me all the PQ numbers, but can't find that info before booking.
Agreed, miss that calculator as well. No surprised that they removed it. When I'm looking at fares, my rough rule of thumb is that 80% of the price you see counts towards PQD. I believe the actual number comes in around 83% (at for domestic travel) but at least it give me a sense of PQDs.

Answer: No.

The answer you received from MP is terrible.
Based on a couple of replies, yours included, no kidding. Horrible response. Would have effected the way I booked the trip. Maybe they will let me change the ticket to Y or B without a fee. Like banks, airlines seem to be good at collecting fees and not much more than that.

Thanks for your reply.

Think of it in the same vein as a change fee...Which also earns neither.
MBS,

Thanks for the reply and the information. Should have gone to the FT forum first to get the correct answer. Don't know how I could have asked the question any better.

Do you know where on the UA site I can find the answer you gave me. Be nice to know where to look for stuff like this in the future.
