Yes, that thought occurred to me, a litigator, as well. If it includes all Sheratons, then it includes all Sheratons. If the sign out front says Sheraton, then, IMO, it doesn't matter that the hotel is actually part of the LC chain and not the Sheraton chain. What matters is how you represent yourself to consumers, not what the internal documentation says.
This is something which William,
et al., might want to bring to the attention of Starwood corporate. No doubt in my mind that the internal legal staff will see the problem immediately.
