Aimia will never be one of my favourite companies. The mere fact that agents regularly say 'oh, the taxes have gone up on this change...' without giving a second thought.
When I point out, 23.32 CAD is taxes, but 810 CAD is YQ, they them say 'oh, that is correct.'
Insofar as the Market Awards...they are a complete rip-off, IMHO. I would just pay cash and hold my miles for a true award with value. Just my preference.
