If you are leaving from Perugia station bound to Fiumicino Apt (via Roma Termini) by train it will take you at least around 3h20', not really as fast and convenient as the flight
Well, according to schedule it's either 50 to 60 minutes; at any rate, what i meant was that the flights are perfect if you connect at FCO, and not going to Rome (city). And unless you fly AZ from/to FCO, you need to be... rich.
By the way, my friend was booked on that connection last Wednesday. After waiting for a couple of hours after the scheduled departure time, their flight was cancelled and they were bussed to PEG: several hours delay, arriving at Perugia around midnight with her toddler...
