Having been diagnosed with intolerance to wheat, (and believe me, I used to think that people with food fads were pretentious until I got this!), my strategy is just to avoid bread, pastry, cake etc and usually I don't mind. But when BA bring the warm scones with cream and jam and billinghamn is tucking in and drooling, I feel a bit hard done by. If I take my own wheat-free scones on the flight will the cabin crew be okay to heat them up or will they say they can't? (Flying transatlantic in F, so hopeful!)
