As we checked in via WLG no invite of course, told we should have gone to the TG check in at AKL....not impressed but waited for them to get approval from TG and focused on our honeymoon instead....after series of the honeymoon flights on TG I complained over several issues on several flights and have never flown them again.
Oh what I am trying to say is TG must still operate the "must be on the list" system for this lounge. Regular TG flyers like WLG Base maybe able to help.
I've had no issue entering NZ lounge at AKL international terminal on boarding pass alone when flying NZ, SQ or TG. Some of the airlines that use it as a contract lounge require a lounge invite card (e.g. KE, CZ, CI) which is a pain if connecting at AKL instead originating there.
