I stayed at the Hotel Arts in Barcelona this past March for my honeymoon and the staff went above and beyond with surprises for my husband and I. The first night we got tapas and wine then the second night we got rose petals all over over the bed. They kept leaving little treats in our room and gave us a really nice card from the staff. They also gave us the best upgrade I've ever received (I booked on points plus paid one night for a standard room and got upgraded to suite with a city an ocean view). Truly spectacular and unexpected. I thought we'd just get a little bit of a nicer room and a bottle of champagne (like the Starwood we stayed at on the same trip), but they just kept going with it!
