The new-ish Lufty lounge in T2 has a powerpoint at almost every seat; BA's decade old T5 lounges really do need to be reconfigured to be fit for purpose in 2015 with a decent amount of powerpoints and proper, lockable charging stations in all lounges (even if there is a modest cost to use them).

Charging in the lounge at new BA lounges is actually great. The BA Lounge in EDI & AMS have seating areas that have power ports at every seat but I have only visited once.
Some people have suggested T5/T3 lounges, get a charging area but whats the point if you can do it from your seat? The only thing I can see possibly happening is a charging room/left luggage kinda thing. Where you put your phone in a locker and lock it or drop it off at left luggage from them to put it in a locker but you'd need a room with amazing AC with all the heat generated from it. realistically I just think when the lounge refit happens they'll add power at most seats if not all.
It would be nice if you could leave you phone/ipad/laptop somewhere to have time away from it all but I just don't see this being offered in an airline lounge anytime soon.
