EU 261 Personal or Company
I'll be honest, this is with another airline(no forum for it), but if people could answer in the case this was hypothetically BA. I do feel it may relevant and affect a few here and it would be good information to have. But I'm happy to close it down, if it’s not deemed acceptable.
I’ve just put in a claim for a cancelled domestic flight, greeted with an email that says that this is a corporate booked flight and they require confirmation from my company that I am eligible to claim the payment personally, rather than the company.
As far as I understood, it is a case of the compensation coming directly to the flyer, rather than the person who booked the flight.
Can anyone who is more familiar with the rules confirm. I’d rather tackle the airline directly before rocking the boat with the travel nazi’s…….
