Just had a flight out of HKIA today in F, so I checked out the following lounges, the pier, the bridge and the wing. My favorite was the Pier although it is a hike at gate 63 and took forever to get that far. It was fairly deserted when I was there. I used the dining room and had a fantastic pre-flight meal including smoked duck breast, seared salmon and mango sticky rice. Didn't look at the showers but checked out the daybed area and it was nice and comfy with good view. At this point my gate got assigned finally and of course it was at gate 2 so I had to go back to other side of airport. On way I stopped at the bridge which I was not super impressed with, but solid for a business lounge. The wing was a nice lounge although I didn't use their dining room and just had a few drinks there. For dinner and resting in peace and quiet, I really liked the pier, but for just killing time and having drinks the wing was a good fit. Also I used the arrival lounge when I got in to hong kong and there was not much to it at all, but since its for arrivals it served its purpose of giving me a place to check internet and compose myself before venturing out into hong kong.
