Hello all,

I have a AUH - ORD - ATL flight booked by an agent using AA PNR. AUH - ORD on etihad. Economy seat for $845 one way. business was $3400 so i skipped the agent offer.
I called etihad and they told me i would not get the upgrade bid email offer since this is through AA.
My last AUH - ORD was directly through etihad.com and i got the upgrade offer email for $1200 in sep '14.
What are my options to upgrade to business - call etihad ? airport upgrade ? cabin upgrade?
Since i dont have a etihad PNR - can they use AA PNR to even look up anything?

I cant even select seats on etihad using AA's website so this seems like a very confusing process.
