Currently in the lounge and can confirm that champagne is available upon request. I agree with the other comments that the Wi-Fi is very slow, lounge is smaller but very quiet and a small but serviceable selection of snacks and alcohol. The food switches over to lunch at about 11am. Also, restrooms are just outside the lounge but not a real problem in my view.

Native French speaker, though American so confusing. I don't have a problem with French service and actually quite like the service on Air France (though obviously prefer BA). I found the crew, except for the lead, completely unsmiling and not gracious in the least - something I have never found on AF for instance.
