I have tried to call the platinum line three times today about an international award from tam ticket timing issue. Each time the recording tells me they can call me back anything from 45 minutes to to 55 minutes. On the first call I selected the call back option. After 40 minutes I was called back. When I told then it was a flight from South America they said they would have to transfer me to international. When I go put through the wait time for a call back was 55 minutes plus.
Any body else experiencing this kind of delay?
Seems to me the service has deteriorated significantly since the merger!
Called today for are ticketing of an internal award that had been on request for 3 days. On hold for 15 minutes, then needed to be transferred to international. After another 20 minutes while the agent was trying to contact a supervisor to push through ticketing, the phone line dropped. To her credit, my husband's phone number was in the PNR and the agent cal l ed him to let him know she was still working on ticketing. If this is wait time for platinum I can't imagine the no status wait time. The background music is particularly annoying as well.
