I agree - Atlanta is tough. Sad for a hub city.

Open to any total of MQMs. Don't mind multiple segments over a couple of days if the MQMs are worth it. I'm a current Diamond and have met qualification for Gold so far this year. I am mainly focused on MQMs as I have already met my MQDs for Platinum.

I am planning for multiple mileage run trips (I enjoy getting out of town) but certainly open to a long haul.

Budget - for domestic - $250-$500 is ideal for multiple segments to max out miles. International depends on the location. I travel to Europe regularly but rarely to South America and Asia - so open to deals there. $1000 is the max number I look at for international. Under that is perfect. Close is okay.
