Looks like there are only 6 flights that day between EWR-SFO/LAX with the first LAX at 8am and the first SFO at 9am.

I get that it's the day after Thanksgiving, but still very frustrating.
if the later flights are an option for you I'd call and get that changed (while keeping the RPU).
