We need a summary of this thread! I gather that 6B is subject to bumping (this is FRA-ORD) for crew rest, and people don't seem to value the mini-cabin feel of rows 6-7 anymore the way they did before the advent of rear-facing seats. True?

That said, I'm looking at ANYTHING other than 6J for 2 people. Will avoid 6AB if crew rest seat is an issue, but otherwise, which side pairs are quietest (with window though)? I took 7JK based on goalie's comment upthread that 7H wasn't bad, and this IS a daytime flight.

Thanks!
7JK is just fine; better than 7AB because some percentage of people dont go across the plane. Window is real (several), although you're looking at engine. Rear facing if that mattes.

Typically 6B is blocked if needed for the flight, so probably wouldn't get bumped, but there's always risk.
