My company booked my ticket for me GLA-DXB-PEK in Y. I called the TA to see how much to upgrade on the two outbound flights as I have no status with EK (first flight with them ever) and wanted to make this as painless as possible. Got quoted £725 including the change fee which I didn't grumble at and rapidly asked them to book before that price disappeared.
