It is an idea, but would consider that

[a] there would be no protection if there was a delay and missed the train ( unless paying for a flexible ticket )
[b] the cost of TPA-Paris r/t in business class may be cheaper than Tampa-London in business class thanks to the APD for LON-TPA

Due to the location of the car rental offices being offsite at LHR, I would take the coach. At GBP105 r/t , it is likely to be cheaper than hiring 2 cars and will be less hassle
