If your final destination is Paris, I would not consider flying LHR-ORY/CDG.

Instead, jump on the Thameslink train from LGW direct to St Pancras (no changes, step free access). There, join the Eurostar and arrive in to the middle of Paris in around the same timescale as flying without the extra hassle.

Just my opinion of course :-)
