So regarding Chase and having bonus points for adding AU and making a purchase...I don't really feel comfortable adding anyone I know (like my GF, parents, or siblings) as I have heard it will show up on their credit report and I don't want anything to touch their credit reports, and also don't want to explain why I need their names

I have heard Chase doesn't ask for an SSN when adding an AU. I have also heard people use pet names. So is it possible to use a fake or nickname to add an AU to my account and get the AU bonus for the Freedom or CSP?

Is this legal/allowed?

Also, would it be possible to later remove this AU and keep the mini-bonus?
