Again, even if it probably didn't bother many, I just think in principle CC on red-eye could be extra careful to keep the level of voice down and minimize the chatting.
I fully agree. And in principle, my Millennial neighbors shouldn't throw a kegger on a Thursday night. But sometimes it's easier to find workarounds for the world as it is

And on that note, have you ever tried Hearos earplugs? They changed my life, no exaggeration.
