Jazz leaves bags behind

Sorry to report, Jazz seems to be as "customer friendly" as Big Mama. Flew into YLW to discover, alas, they had "bulked out" the a/c and had left 4 pax bags behind. Flight was 1/3 empty, or the angry line would have been much longer.

Seems they do this routinely. Heard an announcement in the arrivals area that all the folks on a flight (flights?) from YVR should be happy to learn that their bags were being trucked in, and would arrive tomorrow.

Jazz had no management on duty at the airport Saturday evening, and the couple of agents had no authority to do anything beyond fill out a form. Their bags office telephone number has been taken off the hook - or call volume is immense - as it has been busy for half a day.

So, weary traveler, take heed. And perhaps take the competition, when it exists. Assuming it's not Air Canada in another disguise.

For practical matters: any recourse? Is there a Canadian government agency that is worth a note to?
