I always consider it something of a privilege to be able to travel in this big world, and let's not forget how many people who - for one reason or another- never get the opportunity.
I have yet to see an epitaph on any tombstone reading "I wish I had spent more time in airline lounges"
Absolutely agree - we will just be starting our honeymoon so would love any recommendations people have w/r/t a good place for a 9:30/10 PM dinner that is not too far from the airport.
We're adventurous eaters and prefer to sample local food. Earlier this year we went to Mezlai at Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi and loved the food, though the atmosphere was a bit...quiet/sterile (perhaps it was an "off" night). I imagine there are no shortage of recommendations throughout FT, but if anyone reading this has one, I'd welcome a suggestion either here or via PM.
Cheers.
