I am going to Auckland via two awards. LM redemption to Europe. JFK-FRA then CAI-AKL via (AUH and SYD).

I would like to carry surfboards as I intend to surf some of New Zealands great waves.

I will be returning AKL-JFK on SQ in suites. So the return of the surfboards will be easy.

Is there any weird/easy or cheap way to get the surfboards there without having to carry the boards to FRA then worry about checking them in CAI.

They are very heavy and a pain to travel with.

If you suggest I ship them is there a better method than just UPS?

This is a 6' bag weighing 35 lbs.
