Had a scheduled 54 minute connection at DFW last night. With weather and then a 15 minute delay waiting for a gate (even though we were already 20 minutes late arriving) it made the connection real tight. I sprinted to the next gate while some in our group (another EXP and PLT) had to wait for the valet checked bags.

Spoke to the GA but she was adamant they would close the gate at T-20 regardless of it being the last flight of the day out. Guess they don't hold the last flight anymore for CX passengers! Luckily our group made it with 60 seconds to spare. Then we sat on the plane past departure time waiting for catering..

Best to wear running shoes to DFW these days!
