I agree - I'm very interested in saving the environment, but those signs have always annoyed me.

Perhaps it's because I don't feel like the hotel does anything to help me? How about ordering room service and asking them to skip the service charge so that they can help you save your wallet? Giving a free bottle of water so you can save your thirst? Maybe even to stop charging so darn much for internet and help you get work done?
