Annual fee on my Marriott Visa signature just hit the account. Thinking of canceling.

Asked the rep, was told I can wait until 6 months of the annual fee being assessed to cancel the account, and still have the annual fee refunded back.

Hard to believe, think it's 30 days from the time the fee is assessed.
