[KVS Tool 7.8.3/Diamond - Awards/AS-MultiAlliance/US]

LAX Los Angeles Intl CA US [KLAX]
SJO San Jose Metro / Juan Santamaria Intl CR = SJO SYQ [MROC]
SAT 09 Apr 2016 | 2 Seats
Carrier Flight From Depart To Arrive A/C St Award Availability
--------- ------ ---- -------- ---- -------- --- -- ------------------
AS 282 LAX 08:35 SJO 15:30 73G 0 FA+ CS/ WS/ YS+
I was trying to validate this by looking on aa.com but this AS flight doesn't show up there, wondering why.

Thanks.
BTW this flight DOES show up as available on Alaska Air's website for 25K miles (where as the AA connections through MIA or DFW show up for 15K).

Why is this considered "phantom" availability?
Upon further review, we have determined that
AS is now actively using a 3-tier Award Level system.
Therefore, we have introduced the support for the new Medium tier (
YM) for
AS Awards in
KVS Tool V7.8.4 (which is now available for download).
Here is the correct Availability display for the flight in question:
[KVS Tool 7.8.4/Diamond - Awards/AS-MultiAlliance/US]
Code:
LAX Los Angeles Intl CA US [KLAX]
