I haven't quite read every post in this thread, but it seems to me that all the people who have actually experienced the new banking hate it. The ones who favor it are just replying in theory (as in, "Yeah, a shorter connection sounds more convenient. I'm all for that!")
Add me to the list of people who hate it-it has created schedules that, for me at least, just aren't working.
There needs to be a happy medium between connections of 31 minutes & 4+ hours, which seem to be the only choices lately. Even if flights are on time, there is a gate available, & the ground crew is waiting for the plane, there is still the matter of the packed terminals to contend with in order to get from 1 gate to the next.
All in all, it's just extra stress & headaches that make an already stressful experience that much worse.
