According to the bosses it's totally down to us and the value we place on short connections....
Being an aging cynic I wonder if by starting earlier and cutting the connection times, the airlines are able to squeeze a few more flights a day out of both crew and aircraft? That ought to raise revenues for the price of a little extra (now lower cost) fuel which would flow almost directly to the bottom line.
Assuming of course that we don't jump ship because we actually care about early mornings and the stress of too many almost missed connections....
